白音查干凹陷早白垩世介形类动物群以非女星介分子,如Limnocypridea、Paralim-nocythere、Clinocypris、Lycopterocypris等的繁盛为特征。自下而上分为3个化石组合:①Rhinocyprisnomugensis-Cypridea(Dypridea)delnovi-Cypridea(Cypridea)unicostata组合,产于腾格尔组;②Cypridea(Yumenia)subremota—Limnocyprideatrapezoidea-Clinocypris组合,产于都红木组下部;③Limnocyprideaminuta富集组合,产于都红木组上部。各化石组合与二连盆地主体的同期化石组合可以对比,但差异颇大。推测早白垩世白音查干古湖盆有较高的盐度,与二连盆地主体可能并非同一水体。白音查干凹陷都红木组沉积期环境以稳定深湖为主,亦与盆地主体都红木组沉积期的沼泽化环境不同。
The Early Cretaceous ostracods in the Baiyinchagan depression are characterized by the proliferation of non-actin intermediates such as Limnocypridea, Paralim-nocythere, Clinocypris, Lycopterocypris and others. There are three fossil assemblages from bottom to top: ①Rhinocyprisnomugensis-Cypridea (Dypridea) delnovi-Cypridea (Cypridea) unicostata, which is produced in the Tengger group; ②Cypridea (Yumenia) subremota-Limnocyprideatrapezoidea-Clinocypris, ; ③ Limnocyprideaminuta enrichment combination, produced in the upper mahogany group. The fossil assemblages can be compared with the same period fossil assemblages in the Erlian basin, but the differences are quite different. It is speculated that the Early Cretaceous Baiyinchagan Lake Basin has higher salinity, which may not be the same with the Erlian Basin. In the Baiyinchagan depression, both the sedimentary period of the Mahogany Formation mainly consisted of stable deep lakes, and also different from the swampy environment during the sedimentary period of the Hongmu Formation in the basin.
