联绵词又称联绵字,是大家比较熟悉的一个概念。究竟什么是联绵词,它的范围有多大,至今说法不一。尤其突出的是中等师范学校教材《文选和写作》和《语文基础》的观点都不一致,前者包括叠音词(见1986年版《文选和写作》第二册第268页),而后者不包括叠音词(见1984年版《语文基础知识》第一册第243页),使师生无所适从。有必要加以讨论。关于这个问题当前主要有四种意见: 一、指双音节单纯词。如乔书振《双声迭韵不是联绵词的特点》(《逻辑与语言学习》1982年第2期第43页): 所谓联绵词,即双音节单纯词。蒋礼鸿、任铭善《古汉语通论》(浙江教育出版社,1984年版第59页):
Linking words, also known as linking words, is a familiar concept. What is a conjunct, what is the scope of it, so far different. In particular, there are inconsistencies between the textbooks of secondary normal schools, “Literary Selection and Writing,” and “Basis of Chinese Language,” which includes alphanumerics (see Book 268, Selected Works of Writing and Writing, p. 268), while the latter does not include Sounds (see the 1984 edition of the “basic knowledge of language” first book p. 243), so that teachers and students know what to do.
