贪污贿赂等经济犯罪活动作为一种典型的腐败现象，不仅对经济资源和社会生产力造成巨大的破坏和浪费，而且毒化社会健康思想意识，助长社会恶习蔓延，损害政党政府威信，破坏公共道德法制秩序，危害大众根本利益，动摇政权稳定的基础。因此它又是人类社会面对的共同“天敌”。

Therefore, it is also a common “natural enemy” faced by human society.
