一九八三年十月,由丹江口水利枢纽管理局主持,对大坝堰顶溢流坝段的平面闸门(8.5×22.5—22.5米)提升力进行了测试。目的是验证采用不同材料作平面闸门支承滑道的工作性能(摩擦、磨损、抗压、时效等)。进一步探讨这些材料的实用价值。这次现场试验的复合材料主要是吉林省辽源市科学技术研究所提供的GS—2和浙江省嘉善县复合轴承厂提供的SF—3,以及上海胜利木材厂在七十年代提供的MCS—2层压胶木。这三种材料的物理性能、工作机理、制造工艺等均已有专门资料介绍;此次现场试验的成果分析,也将由主办单位专文论述,这里,仅就现场观测后,对两种复合材料作支承滑道提几点个人看法。
