世界高层建筑的建造重心正由北美洲向亚洲转移。中国近年处于高层建筑迅速发展时期，在建造总量、高度、层数和体量等方面均不断有新的突破。多种体系发展，以现浇钢筋混凝土为主体，同时采用钢结构和钢－ 钢筋混凝土混合结构，向大开间、大柱网、大空间、大跨度和多功能发展，相应采用多种现浇和预制安装新技术。
