日本三大摩托车公司基于中国摩托车需求增长,决定提高在中国的生产量。日本本田技研工业公司计划在到1994年3月底的年度内,把在中国的5家装配厂的产量提高25%,达56万辆。目前,该公司已投资58亿日元(5200万美元)扩大它在日本南方工厂的生产,这些工厂生产供在中国组装摩托车的零件。这家世界上最大的摩托车厂商还计划从本田在泰国的分公司向它在中国河南省的合资工厂供应零件。
Japan’s three major motorcycle companies decided to increase production in China based on the growth in demand for motorcycles in China. In the year to the end of March 1994, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. plans to increase production of 5 assembly plants in China by 25% to 560,000 vehicles. At present, the company has invested 5.8 billion yen (US$52 million) to expand its production at the South Japan factory, which produces parts for assembling motorcycles in China. The world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer also plans to supply parts from Honda’s subsidiary in Thailand to its joint venture plant in Henan Province, China.
