In January 2010, during the two sessions in our province, the Provincial Committee of History and Culture submitted a speech at the Third Session of the Tenth CPPCC Provincial Committee to the Third Session of the Tenth Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and at the same time, submitted a proposal on “Proposal on Further Strengthening the Work of Protecting and Declaring the World Heritage by Grand Canal” . This is the second appeal made since the submission by the Literary History Committee to provincial and municipal governments in 2007 for the proposal of applying for the Grand Canal. As early as 2006, during the two sessions of the country, 58 joint members of the CPPCC National Committee called for a strategic plan to start the rescue and rescue of the Grand Canal and apply for World Heritage projects in due course. Since then, Grand Canal Shenyin opened the prelude to action. Since then, the CPPCC people began to get along with the Grand Canal. Now that the years have crossed into 2010, in the long history of the river, the long road to the inscription may not be long compared to the Millennium silence of the Grand Canal. But the Grand Canal looks forward to a long period of rejuvenation. In 2014, the date of application for the Grand Canal has now begun counting down. The ancient and vicissitudes of the Grand Canal is doomed to not be silent forever.
