Gene blotting refers to the differential expression of a pair of alleles in which some genes are derived from different parents. Research on the relationship between assisted reproductive technology (ART) and genetic imprinting has become the frontier and hot point of reproductive safety research. ART includes controlled superovulation, in vitro fertilization / intracytoplasmic sperm injection, embryo in vitro maturation and embryo transfer and so on. However, it is unclear which aspect causes ART and how to cause genetic imprinting and even genetic imprinting diseases. Numerous studies have shown that under the influence of the infertility background of patients, superovulation, in vitro maturation of eggs, in vitro fertilization and embryo manipulation all lead to different degrees of gene imprinting abnormalities from different perspectives.
