抑制血管生成已被证实是遏制肿瘤生长的有效策略,内皮抑素是目前发现的最有效抑制血管生成的物质。内皮抑素是一分子量约为20KD的胶原XVIII羧基末端片段,具有抑制血管内皮细胞增殖、诱导血管内皮细胞凋亡、抑制血管生长因子等抗血管生成作用。内皮抑素对60多种肿瘤有抑制作用,但是具体作用机制尚不明了,本文着重对内皮抑素的生物活性机制做一介绍。
Inhibition of angiogenesis has been shown to be an effective strategy to curb tumor growth. Endostatin is the most effective inhibitor of angiogenesis. Endostatin is a carboxyl terminal fragment of collagen XVIII with a molecular weight of about 20KD. It has the functions of inhibiting the proliferation of vascular endothelial cells, inducing the apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells and inhibiting the growth factors such as angiogenesis. Endostatin has an inhibitory effect on more than 60 kinds of tumors, but the specific mechanism is still unclear. This article focuses on the biological mechanism of endostatin.
