理想中的语文课堂,一定是以语言为要素、以语文为本位的课堂。“语文”虽大,也并非漫无边际。语文是工具性和人文性的统一,这话不错,却未免失之笼统。人们为二者孰先孰后、孰重孰轻的问题争论不休,使得同仁们在教学中往往患得患失、无所适从。窃以为,语文教学应当通过工具性来实现人文性,而工具性的落实必须以语言为抓手。语言是语文的基本要素,是语文区别于其他学科的本质属性,是语文学科的“根”。

Language is the basic element of Chinese, is the essential attribute that distinguishes Chinese from other disciplines, and is the “root” of Chinese subject.
