PE与PEC过滤技术分别是70年代末、80年代初在我国发展起来的一种新型的过滤技术(PE为低压超高聚乙烯材料,PEC是在PE材料的基础上增添适量活性碳和金属银)。1989年首次在华北油田试用于油田注水的水质净化处理,获得成功。一、过滤机理 PE与PEC过滤管为表面型滤芯。主要是靠管外表面床滤除液体中悬浮固体颗料的。它可以重复再生后长期使用。不同型号的PE和PEC滤管有着不同的微孔孔径范围。根据国外经验介绍,孔径的1/3—1/7粒度的固体颗粒最易堵塞此类微孔的孔隙。规定运行时过滤压差不超过0.2MPa。
