从上世纪中叶开始,海上石油开采技术得到突飞猛进的发展,现在,全世界有100多个国家正在开采海底石油资源,海底原油产量约占世界总产量的1/4。本世纪初,几乎所有石油商人都相信有大最石油埋藏在海底。既然是地壳变迁的压力把远古时期的有机物转化成了石油,那么海底的有机物肯定也会受到地壳变迁的影响。海底确实有石油,但令人着急的是没办法开采。这就好比是一个人走在沙漠中,看见了冰雪覆盖的山峰,救命之水近在咫尺,但却没办法取来饮用。
Since the middle of the last century, the offshore oil exploration technology has made rapid progress. Now, more than 100 countries around the world are mining the oil resources of the seabed, and the production of seabed crude oil accounts for about one fourth of the world’s total output. At the beginning of this century, almost all oil traders believed that most of the oil was buried in the sea. Since the pressure of crustal changes transformed the ancient organic matter into oil, the organic matter on the sea floor would surely be affected by the crustal changes. There is indeed oil on the seabed, but the worry is that there is no way to mine it. This is like a person walking in the desert, saw the snow-covered peaks, the water of life close at hand, but no way to get it for drinking.
