Alternanthera philoxeroides (also known as the revolutionary grass, amaranth) has the capacity of potassium enrichment, which is known as biological potash. In order to explore its fertilizer efficiency, we carried out community comparative tests on our farm. The results showed that the application of Alternanthera philoxeroides in paddy field increased the yield of rice by 70 kg and 19.84% compared with the control. The main reasons are as follows: (1) The absorption of N, P, K and the synthesis of chlorophyll in rice are promoted. Rice tillering stage,
