Diffuse glioma in the pons is the most deadly solid tumor in children, and no significant therapeutic progress has been achieved for the past 50 years. Recent studies have shown that midline diffuse gliomas with the H3B K27M mutation may contain more than one biological type. This retrospective study of 91 cases of diffuse gliomas in the classic pontine brain were confirmed by stereotactic biopsy.
