党的十五届六中全会《决定》指出:“马克思主义执政党的最大危险,就是脱离群众。”这是党的作风建设上“八个坚持、八个反对”的核心问题。坚持密切联系群众,反对形式主义、官僚主义,是保持党同人民群众的血肉联系,巩固党的执政地位的根本保证。党的组织和党员领导干部能否切实做到坚持密切联系群众,是思想作风、学风、工作作风、领导作风和生活作风的集中体现,贯彻六中全会精神首先要从这些方面做起。 The “Decision” of the 6th Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee pointed out: “The greatest danger to the ruling party of Marxism is its graduation from the masses.” This is the core issue of the “eight insistences and eight oppositions” in the party’s work style building. To uphold and maintain close ties with the masses and to oppose formalism and bureaucratism is the fundamental guarantee for maintaining the flesh-and-blood ties between the party and the people and consolidating the party’s ruling status. Whether the party organizations and party members and leading cadres can effectively insist on maintaining close contact with the masses is a concentrated expression of ideological style, style of study, work style, style of leadership and style of life. To implement the spirit of the 6th Plenary Session must start from these aspects.
