Since the implementation of the reform and opening up, the political and economic life of our country has changed tremendously as well as the social and cultural life of the people. Social progress has also promoted the development of language, so a large number of new words and popular discourses have emerged as a mirror to reflect the changes in social development. In particular, the use of Internet technology makes the popular language spread rapidly and has a great impact. These language expressions are produced at a specific time and place. Therefore, they have unique social and cultural connotations, and it is very difficult to find corresponding expressions or even untranslatability in translation. This article starts from the new words and phrases in the network, explores the phenomenon of translatability in translation, and points out the dialectical relationship between translatability and non-translatability.
