美国波士顿计算机展览馆开办了一个人工智能(AI)和机器人的永久性展厅。该展厅备有25台机器人和近30个交互式计算机站,用来发挥人们的创造力,做游戏、解决问题和进行通信。 马文·明斯基展出了他的机器人臂。他说:“我们有许多专家系统,它们可以完成特定的工作。但是还没有一台机器能够通晓6岁孩童所知道的事情。”该展览表明了机器能干什么和不能干什么。 在展厅入口处的两台机器人模型是现代机器人诞生的见证。而在其附近的机器人剧场中,10分钟的各种表演逼真地展现了20多种老式机器人,其中有宇航局的火星地面漫游者车(Rover)和计算机工业装配产品用的“查利”(Charlie)机器人。通过与当今机器人的通信,参观者可以了解机器人是怎样“看”、“摸”、“听”和运动的。
Boston, USA Computer Pavilion opens a permanent gallery of artificial intelligence (AI) and robots. The exhibition hall has 25 robots and nearly 30 interactive computer stations to exert people’s creativity, play games, solve problems and communicate. Marvin Minsky exhibited his robotic arm. “We have a lot of expert systems that can do a specific job, but there is not a single machine that understands what 6-year-olds know.” The exhibit shows what the machine can and can not do. Two robotic models at the entrance to the showroom are witness to the birth of modern robots. In its nearby robotic theater, the 10-minute show vividly presented more than 20 vintage robots, including NASA’s Rover (Rover) and the computer industry’s Chariot Charlie. By communicating with today’s robots, visitors can see how robots “look”, “touch,” “listen” and exercise.
