Feed is the material basis for the development of livestock and poultry farming. Widely opening up feed sources and solving feed problems are one of the keys to develop livestock and poultry production. In recent years, in order to seek the source of feed, domestic and foreign practices have proved that the development and utilization of woody feed is not only effective but also promising. The Soviet Union receives from 200 to 2.5 million tons of fresh feed and 600,000 to 800,000 tons of vitamin powder each year from trees, and 14 species of feed trees have been identified in Australia
