当各大卖场还在与亚马逊等购物网站争得不可开交时,梅西已将发展方向转移到让顾客同时体验实体店和网店两种消费模式在刚刚过去的2013圣诞节,美国老牌百货业巨头梅西百货又一次打赢了圣诞零售大战,保持了圣诞季不间断营业107小时的纪录。直到平安夜晚上6点钟梅西百货37家门店已经营业超过4天。这种通宵营业的战略还要追溯到2006年,当时梅西百货的皇后中心店第一次进行24小时通宵营业。
