This article examines the concept of genre in prophetic literature and studies how prophetic literature was produced from the postcolonial perspective. A convention of postcolonial perspective can provide more than anti-colonial discourse of discourse, which can be found in the theological and political contexts of the prophetic material. Based on Homi Bhabha’s introspection of the Book and other stylistic genres of post-colonial theorists, the article traces the elements that make up the Prophet and questions the Canon classification of the Prophet Literature ", and finally provide three definite characteristics of repositioning prophetic literature reading from the perspective of post-colonialism.
