在群体水培条件下,选用于茎伸长节间数分别为4(早稻),5(中稻),6(晚稻)个的代表品种9个及对原只6个伸长节间的品种进行播期和短日照处理,改变其伸长节间数,培育成4,5.6个3种类型,研究不同品种(处理)根系的发生和活力。结果表明:(1)主茎伸长节间数相同的品种具有类似的发根规则和根系构成(上层根率),伸长节间数不同的品种发根规则和根系构成差异很大;(2)结实期平均根系活力随伸长节间数的增加而下降;(3)改变品种的伸长节间数,其发根规则、根系构成及根系活力亦随之发生变化,其趋势与伸长节间数不同的品种间趋势一致。出上认为,根系的发根规则、根系构成、根系活力与品种的伸长节间数有关。依据上述结论,对不同类型水稻品种培育优质根系的侧重点进行了讨论。
