本文以英国当代校园小说代表作家戴维·洛奇的小说《换位》中描写的两位西方当代知识分子史沃娄与扎普为例,结合西方相关的知识分子观,通过文本分析,认为洛奇笔下的两位当代知识分子在嘈杂的英美时代背景下,未表现出传统知识分子批判意识与担当精神,体现出精英意识的缺席,史沃娄和扎普的形象与传统知识分子的精神英雄形象逐渐脱离。 This paper takes the case study of two contemporary western intellectuals, Swover and Zap, written by David Lodge in the novel of contemporary British campus novel. With the analysis of western related intellectuals, through the textual analysis, Under the background of noisy Anglo-American era, the two contemporary intellectuals under Lodge did not show the traditional critics’ sense and responsibility, reflecting the absence of elite consciousness, the image of Schwerud and Zap, and the spirit of traditional intellectuals Heroic figure gradually separated.
