Introduction “is characterized by ” full translation of the era “. In addition, the current choice of various literary textbooks for the current version of ”A Dream of Red Mansions" shows that Yang Xiangyi was cold-hearted in the English-speaking world. However, the readers’ expectations as reflected in the major literary textbooks of the 1960s can partly explain the reasons for the cold today .
