The Erdos Basin is building on the basis of the Sulig gas field, the second Daqing oilfield in China - “Shaanxi-Mongolia Daqing”. The exploration of oil and gas in the Ordos Basin experienced a complex process of torture. Many times people have doubts about the prospect of finding oil and gas in this basin. After nearly 30 years of exploration, it became important to discover the Qingyang Triassic oilfield in 1970 progress. The Lower Paleozoic Jingbian gas field was discovered in 1988, and the well Su-6 in 2000 revealed that the exploration and development work of the Sulige Gas Field and the basin made a major step by step major breakthrough. The paper explores the exploration process of Erdos and discusses the relationship between the guiding ideology of each stage of exploration and the breakthrough of oilfield and its key links. Put forward the basic experience is: (1) In practice, continue to sum up, deepen understanding, to overcome the ideological constraints to find structural reservoirs, recognize the importance of lithologic reservoirs. (2) Li Siguang began to emphasize the selected work direction based on a comprehensive study of the basin, and then emphasized that there is no tectonic area in the middle of the basin to find oil and gas, indicating that his analysis of hydrocarbon accumulation conditions in the Ordos Basin has led to structural displacement and structural oil recovery The view, there is a new understanding of lithological reservoirs. (3) Emphasis on three technologies: ① high-resolution seismic delineation of channel sand body; ② low-permeability fracturing technology and advanced water injection; ③ “five plus one” management mode. The article also proposes the future direction of resources.
