隐喻和二语习得研究同属语言认知领域。把隐喻理论应用到二语习得中去既是隐喻研究发展的一个趋势,也是外语教学和二语习得研究的需要。本文从隐喻理论在二语习得中的应用出发,提倡把隐喻理论全面应用到词汇、阅读、文化等外语教学环节中去,使学生能够通过相对具体、结构相对清晰的概念去理解那些相对抽象、缺乏内部结构的概念,帮助学生对词义的理解,加深对词汇的记忆;感受和领悟语言对象的表意特点及规律,整体把握文章内容;将纷繁复杂的文化现象提纲挈领地组织起来,并加深对文化和民族思维方式的理解。因此,在教学中鼓励学生运用隐喻思维,以提升其隐喻能力。
Metaphor and second language acquisition study belong to the same field of cognitive linguistics. The application of metaphor theory to second language acquisition is not only a trend of development of metaphor research, but also a need of foreign language teaching and second language acquisition research. Based on the application of metaphor theory in second language acquisition, this dissertation advocates the full application of metaphor theory in foreign language teaching such as vocabulary, reading and culture so as to enable students to understand relative abstraction through relative concrete and relatively clear concepts , The lack of the concept of internal structure, to help students understand the meaning of the word, deepen the memory of the vocabulary; feeling and comprehension of the ideological characteristics and laws of language objects, the overall grasp of the content of the article; complex cultural phenomenon outline territory to organize and deepen Understanding of culture and national way of thinking. Therefore, students are encouraged to use metaphorical thinking in their teaching to enhance their metaphorical ability.
