喝茶,是毛主席的一大嗜好,并对茶叶历史和茶文化也十分熟稔。他说,最早种茶、饮茶都在中国,大约在9世纪首先传入日本,后来才传到欧洲、印度。他也知道唐朝陆羽著的《茶经》是世界上第一部茶的专门著作,常说“这也是中国人对世界做的贡献”。毛主席还把茶作为“药”来看待,生前曾对他的保健医生徐涛这样说:“我的生活里有四味药:
