编者按著名中国电影史学家、理论家李少白先生于2015年3月16日上午九时因病去世,享年84岁。李少白先生突然仙逝,给学界留下无尽的遗憾和悲伤。众所周知,李少白先生在建构中国电影史上具有开拓性的贡献。20世纪50年代后期,李少白先生参与了《中国电影发展史》(第一、二卷)的编写工作。该书作为新中国第一部艺术类史书,具有奠基性的意义,对时至今日的中国电影史研究和电影史学科建设具有极其深远的影响和重要的历史价值。他的另一重要贡献是创办了电影研究所和《电影文化》杂志。1973年,李少白先生从“干校”被抽调回京,当时国务院文化组艺术研究机构(今中国艺术研究院前身)电影组成立,由他担任组长。1975年,他任文化部文学艺术研究所电影研究室主任一职。此后在改名为文化部文学艺术研究
Editor By famous Chinese film historian, theorist Mr. Li Shaobai died at the age of 84 at 9 am on March 16, 2015 due to illness. Mr. Li Shaobai suddenly passed away, to the academic world left endless regret and sadness. As we all know, Mr. Li Shaobai has made pioneering contributions in the history of constructing Chinese cinema. In the late 1950s, Mr. Li Shaobai participated in the compilation of “History of Chinese Film Development” (Volumes 1 and 2). The book, as the first art history book in new China, has a foundation-based significance. It has an extremely far-reaching impact and important historic value on the study of the history of film history in China and the construction of the history of film history. Another important contribution he made was the creation of the Film Institute and Film Culture magazine. In 1973, Mr. Li Shaobai was transferred back to Beijing from “Dry school ”. At that time, the film group of the Arts Research Institute of the Culture Department of the State Council (now the predecessor of the China Academy of Art) was established and headed by him.
