This article describes the X-ray fluorescence analysis of twelve elements in stainless acid-resistant steels. The importance of deducing the overlapping interference of K series and L series lines among the elements in steel is pointed out. Experiments were made on the theoretical ratio and the experimental value respectively, and the various elements were discussed. The value of the analysis results, the relationship between the mouth value and the atomic number Z and how to determine and accurately use the mouth value and other issues. Finally, the accuracy of the analytical method was verified with 36 stainless steel standard samples of different grades.
