The rat model of isolated renal allograft was treated by repeated in vitro shock wave treatment to detect urease NAG activity, endogenous creatinine clearance rate and histomorphological changes in order to study the impact of extracorporeal shock wave (ESW) on the degree of renal damage and the interval between repeated treatment . Results: After the first ESW treatment, NAG was significantly increased and EC0 was significantly reduced. After the second ESW treatment, NAG in 3d and 1 week groups were significantly increased and ECC was significantly decreased. The biochemical indexes in the 4 weeks group showed no significant change, and the degree of histological lesion was also lighter. CONCLUSIONS: ESW impinges the kidney of the kidneys causing some renal parenchymal damage, repeated with ESW, with renal injury less than 1 week apart and heavier than 2 weeks between intervals. This experiment provides experimental data for the selection of patients with renal stone during repeated shock wave therapy, which is worth further study and exploration in clinical practice.
