On November 8, 2001, the first China Decoration Industry Forum was held in Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing. The forum was hosted by China Interior Decoration Association (CIDA). The forum takes the opportunity to welcome China’s accession to the WTO and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, with the theme of “Design and Materials·Communication and Interaction”, aiming to highlight the “leading” role of “design” and the “base” of “materials.”
