“老西门”区域,从单一的居住及商业功能,推演出更多的城市文化复合功能。对于老西门及周边社群的居民休阑生活产生积极的意义,带有强烈的公共分享意识及文化传播属性,成为常德老城区新城市文化的诠释者与朗读者。我们试图在老西门区域,赋予每个建造以恰当的意义与归属,每个空间、转折与细节、材料、色彩,都可以用诗情画意来诠释与标识,形成蒙太奇 “Old Simon ” area, from a single residential and commercial functions, deduced more city cultural complex.
