良好的口头表达能力,较高的课堂语言水平,是语文教师应具备的教学能力的一个重要方面。如何提高课堂语言效果,我认为应把握以下几个环节: 一、控制课堂语言的数量 美国教育家肯尼思·丁·汉森在《美国中学的讲授法》一文中写道:“多数成功的教授都是简短的,持续较长时间尚能集中听者注意力的讲授只是少数。”这一观点是针对各科教学而发,它对语文教学无疑更是适宜。引起学生厌烦学语文的原因之一,正是教师喋喋不休地每节课扮演独角戏。即使语言水平较高的教师,假如经常独占四十五分钟,搞“满堂灌”把教材咬碎嚼烂,代替学生学习语文,学生也不会感恩的。

One of the reasons that motivated students to bother to learn languages is that teachers chatter endlessly to play one-man shows. Even if teachers with a high level of language proficiency, students will not be grateful if they often monopolize for 45 minutes and engage in “full housekeeping” to chew their teaching materials and replace their students' language learning.
