配重阀设置在地面污水处理站的沉淀池出水堰墙中.原设计如图1所示,采用单流阀,其意图是当出口区域水位高于池内水位时,单流阀打开,使两区域水位相平衡.事实上,除堤坝决口外,其他任何情况下都不可能产生反向流动.当沉淀区水位高于出口区水位时,此单流阀克服不了因两区水位差造成的墙体倒塌事故,因此沉淀池投产时两区必须同时进水,使堰墙两侧液位相平衡.这种设计安全系数小,一旦沉淀区水位增高,位差增大,出水堰墙就会倒塌.
