短篇小说《坛子》创作于1930年,虽然同样取材于农村农民的悲惨境遇,却克服了20世纪20年代以来同类题材小说的艺术缺陷。“坛子”作为一种微妙的重复,始终活跃于小说的各个角落,既缝合了故事,又在意义上暗示了一种更大的存在,成为小说意义生成的重要手段。“坛子”隐喻了被社会物质文化观念恶劣塑造的悲凉人生,对抽空人的精神实体的根源做了探究式反省。
Short story “jar” was created in 1930, although also based on the tragic situation of rural peasants, but overcome the artistic flaws of the same type of theme novels since the 1920s. As a subtle repetition, the “jar” is always active in every corner of the novel. It not only sews up the story, but also implies a greater existence in meaning and becomes an important means of generating the meaning of the novel. “Jar” metaphor is depraved by the sad concept of material and cultural ideas of the society, and explores the root causes of the evacuation of spiritual entities.
