爆发于20世纪80年代初的日本本田与雅马哈公司之间的摩托车市场之争,被称为摩托车行业的第一恶战,又被称为“近代日本工业领域最残酷的一次竞争”。尽管这场历时两年的恶斗以本田大获全胜而结束,但在这一“经典之战”中,双方均展示了高超的战略技巧。对这场经典的本雅之战双方所采用的战略、战术进行回顾与分析,将对我国企业更好地参与国内和国际竞争有着重要的借鉴意义。
The controversy over the motorcycle market between Japan’s Honda and Yamaha companies, which erupted in the early 1980s, is known as the first of the motorcycle industry’s worst battles and is also known as “the most brutal competition in modern Japanese industry.” Although this two-year campaign ended with a victorious Honda victory, both sides demonstrated superlative strategic skills in this “classic battle.” The review and analysis of the strategies and tactics adopted by both sides of this classic Benya war will have an important reference for our country’s enterprises to better participate in domestic and international competition.
