介绍了以LN为基底的集成型和以TeO2为材料的体型通信用声光可调谐滤波器(AOTF)的工作机制,并对其结构和性能进行了比较分析,指出了各自需要解决的主要问题。讨论了用作OADM的声光可调谐滤波器对偏振分束器的要求及偏振分束器对滤波器性能的影响。提出了有必要对TeO2器件应用于通信领域的可能性进行更为深入的研究。
This paper introduces the working mechanism of LNO-based integrated and AOTF (Tunable Optical Tunable Filter for Body Communication with TeO2) material, and compares its structure and performance. The main problems that need to be solved are pointed out . The requirements of the polarization beam splitter for the acousto-optic tunable filter used as OADM and the influence of the polarization beam splitter on the performance of the filter are discussed. It is proposed that it is necessary to conduct a more in-depth study on the possibility of using TeO2 devices in the field of communications.
