翻译是一种跨语言交际,译者在翻译过程中不可避免地要处理源语言中的冗余信息,处理不当会造成不符合英语习惯的中式英语。＂冗余对子＂是中式英语的主要表现之一。文章通过实例探讨汉译英中冗余对子的鉴别与纠正,以期对翻译教学有所启示。
