威海市地处山东半岛东端 ,位于北纬 36°42′至 37°35′,东经 12 1°11′至 12 2°42′,面积5 485ｋｍ2 。东、南、北三面濒临黄海 ,海岸曲折 ,港湾岛屿众多 ,海岸线长 985 .9ｋｍ ,占全省的 31.5 %。全市湿地资源主要分布在沿海海岸、河口与海湾和众多水库及几条较大的河流。
Weihai City is located in the eastern end of Shandong Peninsula, located at latitude 36 ° 42 ’to 37 ° 35’ north and longitude 12 1 ° 11 ’to 12 2 ° 42’ with an area of 5 485 km2. The east, south and north are on the verge of the Yellow Sea. Coasts are twists and turns. There are many islands in the harbor. The coastline is 985.9 km, accounting for 31.5% of the province.
