热干面热干面的诞生纯属偶然。相传,约在70年前,汉口长堤街关帝庙一带有个姓李的熟食小贩,因脖子上长了一个肉瘤,别人称他为“李包”。李包一直以来卖的是凉粉和汤面。但是有一年夏天,他生意不好,卖了一天还剩下不少面条没卖出去。他想,天气这么热,恐怕是会馊了,于是便把面条煮了一下,捞起来晾在砧板上。谁知他不小心碰翻了麻油壶,麻油全都泼在了面上。李包懊丧之余,灵机一动,索性将面条与麻油拌匀,然后放凉,准备第二天一早拿到市上卖。
