This article discusses the reversibility of art based on the analysis of the female parent by the video art work “How to Stop the Fallen” which was presented by the Dutch artist Becquelovic in 2011. Based on the writings of Roman philosopher Lucretius and Derrida’s deconstructionist account of Lucretius in his essay “Mes chance / My chances” Resistance to the entropy logic of the natural world. This article also reflects on the intervention of Berklovich et al. In his works on the concept of gravity from the perspective of Lucretius and modern science on the universe. This article, while contemplating the reversibility of art, highlights some of the problems in the relationship between nature, art and chance. Lucretius’s theory of atomism and its concept of Kerina (deviation) emphasize contingency, and as Derrida states, Lucretius’s approach is more consistent with deconstruction. In this context, this article discusses the ways in which art can construct the essentially accidental nature of reality.
