厦门是著名的侨乡,又是我国五大经济特区之一。随着境外资金的不断涌入和学龄前儿童入园需求的不断增长,中外合作办幼儿园这一新生事物应运而生。中外合作办园一般经教育行政部门批准,由中方的教育部门或者企业提供地块,外方提供资金或设备,共同兴办幼儿园。近几年来,在厦门市教委的大力支持和积极引导下,中外合作办园事业有了长足的发展, Xiamen is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese and one of the five special economic zones in our country. With the continuous inflow of overseas funds and the increasing demand of preschool children to enter the park, the new birth of Chinese-foreign cooperative kindergartens came into being. Sino-foreign cooperative park is generally approved by the administrative department of education, the Chinese education department or enterprise to provide plots, foreign funds or equipment to jointly set up kindergartens. In recent years, thanks to the vigorous support and positive guidance from the Xiamen Municipal Commission of Education, the undertaking of Sino-foreign cooperative parks has made great strides.
