主持人话：张炜在九十年代曾经因为《九月寓言》、《家族》、《柏慧》三部长篇小说而引起过文坛长时间的轰动。许多人都把《九月寓言》视为张炜文学创作的高峰和整个九十年代中国文学的最重要收获。而《家族》、《柏慧》则因其人文思想和道德理想问题而成为90年代“人文精神大讨论”中的重要文本。今天我们要讨论的《外省书》（发表于《收获》2000年第5期）是张炜90年代创作的第4部长篇小说。媒体上有评价认为这是一部“全面超越《古船》和《九月寓言》”的作品。大家都认真读过这些小说，我希望大家踊跃发表自己的见解，探讨一下这部作品的思想艺术价值，以及这部作品之于《九月寓言》等小说的“超越性”。
Moderator: Zhang Wei in the nineties once because of the “September Fable”, “family”, “Bai Hui” three novels caused a long time literary sensation. Many people regard “September Fables” as the most important achievement of Zhang Wei’s literature creation and Chinese literature throughout the 1990s. However, “family” and “Bai Hui” became important texts in the “Great Discussion on Humanistic Spirit” in the 1990s because of their humanistic and moral ideals. Today, the “book of provinces” we discuss (published in Harvest No.5, 2000) is the fourth novel written by Zhang Wei in the 90s. There are comments in the media that this is a “comprehensive” beyond the “Old Ship” and “September Fables” works. All of you have read these novels earnestly and I hope everyone will express their opinions and explore the ideological and artistic value of this work and the transcendence of this work in such novels as the September Fable.
