在对沿海防护林木麻黄主要蛀干害虫星天牛(Anoplophorachinensis(Forster))行为和发生规律研究的基础上,针对新造林和现有林虫害发生的不同特点,通过林间虫情调查进行预测预报,运用综合控制理论,提出在加强抚育管理的基础上分类施策。新造林应大力推广抗性品系,结合营造木麻黄与湿地松、相思树、桉树等的混交林,幼林阶段适当修枝、保留地被物等营林措施;现有林的星天牛以苦楝树诱杀成虫,人工措施处理初龄幼虫为主,并用白僵菌粘膏等生物防治措施控制危害。综合控制技术在福建沿海部分地区推广应用,推广抗性品系苗木300万株,在试验示范林内实现了有虫不成灾,取得良好的经济、社会和生态效益。
