轴流式水轮机在含沙水流中运行时,常遭到泥沙磨损和磨蚀破坏。通过对新庄、枣渠、绥德、且末4个水电站的磨蚀破坏部件的修复、转轮叶片测型与修型、叶片头部割圆角、叶片外缘加裙边、头部加导流板等抗磨蚀措施的综合治理,取得较好效果,使机组出力增加、抗磨蚀能力提高。
