The changes of Ti content in blood and the other life elements (Ca, P, K, Fe, Cu and Zn) in rats after intravenous injection of titanium ascorbate and intragastric administration were measured by PIXE analysis. After a single intravenous injection of 50 mg / kg body weight of titanium ascorbate, the kinetic model in the blood is a three-compartment open model. With 500mg / kg dose of a single intragastric administration 0.5-1.5h, Ti concentration in the blood reached its highest value. The measurement results also showed that the concentration of serum calcium significantly increased after exposure, the concentration of potassium decreased significantly, the concentration of iron decreased, but the concentration of copper and zinc did not decrease obviously. It is believed that the role of titanium ascorbate in animal weight gain is due to its ability to promote the body’s absorption of calcium.
