本刊发行以来,得到了很多国外眼科学家的关心,纷纷来稿。对于国际友人的热情支持和真挚友谊,我们表示衷心的感谢。为了更好地开展国际眼科交流,本刊从上期起增设“国外来稿”专栏,以刊登国外投寄的眼科论文,欢迎来稿。本文作者王敬弢博士(Carl Wang)是中国血统的美国生物医学工程专家,专长为眼科器械,现是美国医疗器械研制公司负责人。曾于1979年来我国访问,在北京、上海等地与我国眼科和生物医学工程学工作者进行了交流,并于1980年应邀赴京参加了医用仪器科技交流会,在京期间曾就眼科器械进展作了报告。为了使国内广大眼科工作者都能了解这一领域的现况,本刊邀王敬弢博士对该文的主要部分——玻璃体切除显微手术器械撰写专稿。作者是工程师,因此对玻璃体切除器及其辅助器械的设计、结构、性能都有精辟的见解。同时作者对眼科知识也有较深刻的了解,因此相信本文对玻璃体切除器的发展当有裨益。

Authors Carl Wang is a biomedical engineering specialist of Chinese ancestry specializing in ophthalmic devices and is currently the head of the medical device development company in the United States. He visited China in 1979 and held exchanges with our ophthalmic and biomedical engineering workers in Beijing and Shanghai. He was invited to Beijing to attend the medical instrument technology exchange meeting in 1980. During his stay in Beijing, he made a speech on the progress of ophthalmic instruments The report. In order to make the majority of domestic ophthalmology workers can understand the current situation in this area, the journal invited Dr. Wang Jingtao the main part of the article - vitrectomy micro-surgical devices Zhuangao. The author is an engineer and therefore has excellent insight into the design, structure, and performance of vitrectomy devices and their assistive devices. At the same time the author also has a deeper understanding of ophthalmology, so I believe this article will be helpful for the development of vitrectomy.
