1936年冬在绥远省(今内蒙古自治区一部分)爆发的抗击日伪武装侵略战争,是激成“西安事变”的一个重要因素,也是次年“七·七”事变后全国进入全面抗战的前奏。经过“一二·九”运动锻炼的平津爱国学生和全国人民曾纷纷以积极行动支援绥远抗日战争。我当时是燕京大学新闻系一年级学生,入校后就参加了民族解放先锋队。我和新闻系另外6个民先队同学受学生会之命,护送全校师生捐赠的一批慰劳前线将士的物资去绥远。由于我们都是新闻系学生,所以就把这个小团体称之为“燕大新闻系绥远前线战地 The war on Japan and the puppet disarmament that broke out in the winter of 1936 in Suiyuan Province (now part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) was an important factor stimulating the “Xi’an Incident” and also the prelude to the nationwide entry into the all-round war of resistance after the “Sept.7th Incident” of the following year . After the “January 29” exercise, the patriotic students in Pingjin and the people throughout the country have all taken active steps to support the Suiyuan anti-Japanese war. I was a freshman at the Department of Journalism at Yenching University and joined the Vanguard of National Liberation after entering school. I and the Department of Journalism six other Pioneers students by the life of the student council, escort the school teachers and students donated a group of comfort frontline officers and men’s supplies to Suiyuan. Since we are both journalism students, we call this small group "the Front Line Battlefield of Suiyuan, Yan Tai Journalism Department
