Most of the literature on the history of geriatrics is cumulatively disorganized. At present, the number of scholars involved in various fields of aging is increasing. Data consolidation work can not adapt to this ever-changing change. Despite previous hard work, most of the documents are still scattered in the general index and are not clearly classified. Publications in this area tend to be the result of a few individual efforts, with neither support nor financial assistance. Little is known about this situation among those working in the social, clinical and humanitarian fields. However, the consolidation of information must have started from the mid-20th century.
