目的:通过观察环氧化酶-2(COX-2)在舌癌组织中的表达,研究COX-2与肿瘤微血管形成的关系。方法:采用S-P免疫组化的方法观察了46例舌鳞状细胞癌组织及颈部转移淋巴结中COX-2和CD34的表达,并以正常口腔黏膜作为对照。结果:COX-2在舌癌组织中呈强阳性表达(82.61%),而在正常口腔黏膜均为阴性表达。两者之间存在显著差异(P=0.000)。COX-2表达强度同舌癌组织中微血管密度值(MVD)呈正相关(rs=0.495,P=0.001);在阴、阳性淋巴结的两组舌癌组织中,COX-2的表达差异有显著性意义(P=0.002)。结论:COX-2在舌鳞癌组织中呈强阳性表达,其与舌鳞状细胞癌的生物学行为密切相关,但其在肿瘤发生中的作用机制有待于进一步探讨。
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression and tumor microvessel density in tongue cancer tissues. Methods: The expression of COX-2 and CD34 in 46 cases of tongue squamous cell carcinoma and cervical metastatic lymph nodes were observed by S-P immunohistochemistry. The normal oral mucosa was used as the control. Results: COX-2 was strongly expressed in tongue cancer tissues (82.61%), but negative in normal oral mucosa. There was a significant difference between the two (P = 0.000). The expression of COX-2 was positively correlated with the MVD in tongue cancer tissues (rs = 0.495, P = 0.001). There was significant difference in the expression of COX-2 in two groups of tongue cancer tissues between negative and positive lymph nodes Significance (P = 0.002). CONCLUSION: COX-2 is strongly expressed in tongue squamous cell carcinoma and is closely related to the biological behavior of tongue squamous cell carcinoma. However, the mechanism of its role in tumorigenesis remains to be further explored.
