The Sovecch fault has a 15-kilometer-wide fault, a right-lateral slip fault that links the Juan de Fuca ridge in the northeastern Pacific with the Exxeu Ridge. SEABEAM sounding shows that the Sovensko fault zone consists of several rhombic uplifted oceanic crusts bounded by the linear structures that go north and east west. We assume that the northeast strike linear structure is a left-lateral strike-slip fault formed by the normal fault activation parallel to the ridge. The left-lateral crust boundary fault and the crust itself are all rotated clockwise by about 30 ° in response to the right-hand shear in the Soveccan fault zone.
